Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric conversion element having high power generation characteristics, at a low manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A thermoelectric conversion element 100 is provided on a base material 10, and includes a magnetic substance layer 20, and a conductive layer 30. The magnetic substance layer 20 is composed of a magnetic material representing spin Seebeck effect. The magnetic material is a metal oxide contained in the rolling scale. The metal oxide is triiron tetraoxide (magnetite), ferrous oxide (wustite), or ferric oxide (hematite). This magnetic material is atomized and mixed with a high polymer. The magnetic substance layer 20 is formed by applying this mixture.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
