Abstract:
To improve the performance of a thermoelectric converter.SOLUTION: A thermoelectric conversion device HD1 includes a magnetic material portion MM1, an observation portion OB that observes a change in the magnetization state of the magnetic material portion MM1, a control portion GT that controls the magnetization state of the magnetic material portion MM1, and a conversion portion CV that converts magnetic energy in the magnetic material portion MM1 into electric energy, in which the magnetic material portion MM1 includes a first nonmagnetic layer NM1, a first magnetic layer MG1 formed on the first nonmagnetic layer NM1 and a second nonmagnetic layer NM2 formed on the first magnetic layer MG1 and made of a material different from that of the first nonmagnetic layer NM1, and the film thickness of the first magnetic layer MG1 increases in a first direction of the magnetic material portion MM1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
