To provide a device in which, when sensible heat and waste heat generated in the manufacturing process are collected, a thermoelectric power generation module is disposed, and thermal energy is converted to electric energy, then the electric energy is collected by utilizing a temperature difference between a heat source temperature in a process and an atmospheric temperature around the process.
A thermoelectric power generation device includes: a thermoelectric power generation unit 8 having a thermoelectric power generation module 3 which converts thermal energy to electric energy, an insulation material 4 and a protection plate 7 installed on at least a high temperature surface side of the thermoelectric power generation module, and pressure adjustment means 5 disposed on a low temperature surface side of the thermoelectric power generation module; and a heat receiving plate in contact with a heat source. The pressure adjustment means has a function of controlling a contact area between the thermoelectric power generation unit and the heat receiving plate in accordance with the heat source.
