Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a thermoelectric power generation system for a ship which is capable of stably cooling a thermoelectric power generation means even when a water intake is stopped by subjecting the thermoelectric power generation means to water around a hull; and a ship.SOLUTION: A thermoelectric power generation system for a ship performs power generation by including: an exhaust gas passage 20 that permits passage of exhaust gas discharged from an internal combustion engine 10 of a ship 1; a cooling water passage 30 that permits passage of cooling water for cooling the internal combustion engine 10; and a thermoelectric generation means 40 whose high-temperature part receives heat from the exhaust gas passage 20 and low-temperature part releases heat to a water intake part 31 of the cooling water passage 30 or a hull 20 located at or below a draft.
