Abstract:
To provide a thermoelectric transducer, a magnetic head using the same, and a magnetic recording and reproducing device, capable of increasing output of a spin current thermoelectric transducer and thermoelectric conversion efficiency.
The thermoelectric transducer, whose basic structure is a laminated ferri structure 04, has a structure in which a non-magnetic conductive layer 02 made of non-magnetic metal having a large spin orbit interaction such as Pt is connected to a lamination plane. A voltage difference occurred in a lamination direction of the laminated ferri structure of the non-magnetic conductive layer is detected with a voltmeter 05.
