Title:
THERMOELECTRON HEAT PUMP
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002303465
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To eliminate the problems with prior art that in a thermoelectron heat pump a positive electrode 2 on a high temperature side and a negative electrode 1 on a lower temperature side are disposed oppositely to each other, so that heat is transferred through radiation heat from the high temperature side to the low temperature side to deteriorate cooling performance and heating performance.

The negative electrode in thermal contact with an article to be cooled and the positive electrode in thermal contact with an article to be heated are disposed oppositely, and a power supply is provided for applying negative and positive voltages to the negative electrode and the positive electrode, and further radiation of radiant heat from the surface of the electrodes is suppressed by providing a recess in one surface or both surfaces of the negative electrode 1 and the positive electrode 2 opposed to one another.
