Abstract:
To provide a technique for attaining a large amount of power generation in a thermoelectronic power generation apparatus utilizing thermoelectrons each moving between a pair of electrodes through a tunnel phenomenon.
The thermoelectronic power generator 10 comprises a high temperature side electrode 32 to which heat from a heat source is applied; and a low temperature side electrode 34 facing the high temperature side electrode 32 as separated by a space 60. The surface 32a of the high temperature side electrode 32 is a smooth one. A plurality of concave and convex parts are formed on the surface 34a of the low temperature side electrode 34.
