Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermomagnetic cycle device which is suppressed in cavitation.SOLUTION: A thermal apparatus 1 comprises a magnet-caloric effect type heat pump device (MHP device) 2 being one of thermomagnetic cycle devices. The MHP device 2 comprises a plurality of magneto-caloric elements (MCE elements) 12. The MCE elements 12 are accommodated in a workroom 11. The MHP device 2 comprises a heat transport device 16 for making a heat transport medium which is heat-exchanged with the MCE elements 12 flow. The heat transport device 16 has pumps 16a, 16b. The pumps 16a, 16b generate reciprocal flows of the heat transport mediums. The pressure of the heat transport medium is pressurized to the saturation vapor pressure of the heat transport medium or higher. While the MHP device 2 is operated, the pressure of the heat transport medium does not go below the saturation vapor pressure. Since the cavitation of the heat transport medium is suppressed, the lowering of performance resulting from air bubbles and a malfunction of a vapor lock or the like are suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
