Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a thermomagnetic driving method and an actuator applicable in a wide range as well as enabling compact constitution.
CONSTITUTION: The movable member of an impeller type rotor 32 formed of thermosensitive magnetic material is rotatably interposed in the gap 31 of a closed magnetic circuit. The required rotor salient pole of the rotor 32 is heated to make the magnetization of the required rotor salient pole disappear temporarily, and the magnetic flux Φ distribution in the gap 31 is changed to rotate the rotor 32.
