To prevent the breakage of joint part between a capillary and a temperature sensing part in advance by providing a covering member which covers the temperature sensing part and capillary as well as the joint part between them.

A covering member 31 is formed of soft material, and a temperature sensing part 23 soldered to the tip end of a capillary 22 of a thermometer 1 and the capillary 22 including their joint part are covered with the member 31. Thus, no external force is applied to the soldered 28 joint part, so that the cracking of solder or occurrence of breakage of the capillary 22 can be prevented in advance. In addition, even when a solder is extruded to the part 23, it can be covered with the member 31 and the appearance as a product is hardly spoiled thereby.
