Abstract:
To obtain a thermoplastic cellulose acetate composition which is a biomass material improved in fragility and thermal properties and exhibiting good thermal processability.
The thermoplastic cellulose acetate composition comprises at least a grafted cellulose acetate (A) comprising cellulose acetate as the main chain and D-lactic acid and L-lactic acid as essential recurring units in its side chain and an external plasticizer (B) having a weight-average molecular weight of at least 1,000 and at most 50,000.
