PURPOSE: To obtain a title composite raw material being a sheet-like raw material for laminating to form a composite material consisting of a thermoplastic resin and reinforcing fiber and capable of being fixed by only superposing without melting each sheet-like raw material.
CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic fiber in a sheet-like raw material 1 obtained by weaving reinforcing fiber 2 and fibers 3 consisting of thermoplastic resin for forming matrix phase is thermally deformed to provide a thermoplastic composite raw material in which hook-like fixing part 30 or loop-like fixing part is formed on both surfaces of the raw material. Thereby fixing parts of raw materials bringing into contact are entwined with each other to combine in Magic tape(R)-like state and the laminated raw materials are mutually fixed.
