To provide a thermoplastic elastomer composition which can be melt molded and excels in mechanical strength, oil resistance, heat resistance, flexibility, and compression set, particularly a thermoplastic elastomer composition having excellent thermal aging resistance which can be used even in an application in which the composition is left to stand under high temperature conditions for a long period of time.
The thermoplastic elastomer composition is obtained by melt kneading (A) a thermoplastic polyester elastomer, (B) a chlorinated polyethylene having a crystal fusion calorific value of ≤40 J/g and a chlorine content of 15-45 wt.%, and (C) a crossliking agent to effect dynamic crosslinking. Further, a molded article, particularly a joint boot is obtained by subjecting the thermoplastic elastomer composition to melt molding.
