Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject pellet almost free from the generation of pinhole, underfill, etc., and capable of forming a complex molded body by comprising a specific thermoplastic elastomer composition and specifying a sphere-converted average particle diameter and a bulk specific gravity.
SOLUTION: The objective pellet having a sphere-converted average particle diameter of ≤1.2mm and a bulk specific gravity of ≤0.38 is obtained by palletizing a thermoplastic elastomer composition containing (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polyokefin resin and (B 5-250 pts.wt. of a gum polymer (e.g. a conjugated diene elastomer (hydrogenated product), and having a complex dynamic viscosity η*(1) of ≤0.5×104 poise at 250°C, as Newton viscosity coefficient (n) of ≤0.28 and a new tan δ peak at a temperature, which is different from both of a tan δpeak temperature of the A component and a tan δ peak temperature of the B component, in a temperature-depending tan δ curve (-70°C to 30°C; solid dynamic viscoelasticity measurement).
