Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic elastomer composition which can be suitably used as a protective member of a battery pack, and which is superior in incombustibility, thermal conductivity, electrical insulation, chemical resistance (resistant against the dissolution in electrolytic solution), and low-temperature flexibility (brittle fracture temperature).SOLUTION: A thermoplastic elastomer composition for a protective member of a battery pack comprises: 100 pts.mass of a thermoplastic resin which includes 85-98 mass% of hydrogenated random copolymer of an aromatic vinyl compound and a conjugated diene compound, as a component (a); 15-2 mass% of a polypropylene resin as a component (b), provided that the total of the component (a) and the component (b) is 100 mass%; and 250-350 pts.mass of magnesium hydroxide as a component (c).
