PURPOSE: To obtain a thermoplastic elastomer composition having improved initial discoloration properties, high-temperature resistance, low-temperature resistance, plate-out resistance, blooming and processability by adding a specific compound to a thermoplastic elastomer.
CONSTITUTION: This thermoplastic elastomer composition is obtained by adding (A) 0.01 to 10 pts. wt. of a phosphorus compound of formula I [R1 to R3 are 1 to 60C alkyl, alkenyl, aryl, polyoxyalkylene-alkyl or-aryl which may be substituted, respectively, where one or two of R1 to R3 may be H or they may link to each other through the substituents], for example, dicresyl monophenyl phosphate and/or (B) 0.01 to 10 pts. wt. of a compound of formula II (R4 to R7 are 1 to 60C alkyl, aryl, alkenyl which may be substituted; X is halogen or an acid anion, perchlorate anion) such as N,N,N-trimethyl-N-octylammonium perchlorate to 100 pts. wt. of a thermoplastic elastomer.
