PURPOSE: To provide the title composition which can be molded with an appara tus usually used for molding a thermoplastic resin, has excellent rubbery proper ties because its olefin copolymer rubber part is crosslinked, has excellent moldability because its flow is good and can give a high-strength product.
CONSTITUTION: The composition is one prepared by partially crosslinking a mixture comprising 5-85 pts.wt. peroxide-crosslinkable olefin copolymer rubber (a), 10-50 pts.wt. peroxide-decomposable olefin plastic (b) and 5-55 pts.wt. [(a)+(b)+(c)=100 pts.wt.] peroxide-crosslinkable olefin plastic (c) by subjecting it to a dynamic heat treatment in the presence of 0.5-50 pts.wt. metal salt of an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid and 0.01-5 pts.wt. organic peroxide (e), wherein immediately after component (b) is subjected to a degradation treatment, components (a), (c), (d) and (e) are added to treated component (b), and the entire mixture is subjected to a dynamic heat treatment to effect the partial crosslinking, or one wherein the entire mixture is subjected to a dynamic heat treatment to effect the partial crosslinking reaction, and a mineral oil softener is added to the formed composition.
