Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a molded body by carrying out powder molding of a thermoplastic elastomer powder, excellent in powder fluidity and capable of keeping high fluidity even in a state with hardly any application of shaping pressure and performing the powder molding.
CONSTITUTION: Thermoplastic elastomer powder for powder molding is composed of an elastomer composition of an ethylene-α-olefinic copolymer rubber which is an oil-extended olefinic copolymer rubber prepared by blending an ethylene-α-olefinic copolymer rubber having 130-350 Mooney viscosity with a mineral oil-based softener and a polyolefinic resin (e.g. polypropylene) or a partially crosslinked type elastomer composition obtained by dynamically crosslinking the ethylene-α-olefinic copolymer rubber and the polyolefinic resin. The aforementioned powder has 1.5×105 complex dynamic viscosity η(R) (1) measured at 1 radian/sec, ≤0.67 (n) Newtonian viscosity index calculated from the formula using the complex dynamic viscosity η(R)(100) measured at 100 radians/see and ≤45 harness.
