Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make a mixture which is composed of many of polymethyl methacrylate or a corresponding methyl methacrylate copolymer and an ABS polymer, simultaneously be improved in thermal deformation resistance, impact resistance strength, and notch impact strength and be processed as a molding material.
CONSTITUTION: A polymer mixture contains 50-90 wt.% main component (A)of polymethyl methacrylate or polymethacrylate resin, 5-40 wt.% component (B) of a viscous resin, especially an ABS polymer, and 5-40 wt.% component (C) of a polycarbonate or polyester-carbonate. The impact resistance strength and notch impact strength of the mixture can be improved by the addition of an impact strength improving agent (D) (0-20 wt.%).
