To prevent breakage from generating, and provide a container of high safety by a method wherein for the container made of a thermoplastic norbornene based resin, a curved surface which continues from the side surfaces to the bottom surface of the external surface of the container, is formed, and the curved surface is formed in such a manner that the cross sectional thickness of the curved surface part and the radius of curvature of the external surface may satisfy a specific relationship.
For a container having transparency, a gas barrier property, chemical resistance, and a low elusion property, and comprising a thermoplastic norbornene based resin which has less danger in breakage, a curved surface which continues from the side surfaces to the bottom surface of the container external surface, is formed, and the curved surface is formed in such a manner that the cross sectional thickness (t) (mm) of the curved surface part and the radius of curvature R (mm) of the external surface may satisfy an equation of R≥3.5/t. The thermoplastic norbornene based resin to be used is a polymer of a norbornene based monomer, and preferably, an addition copolymer of a hydrogen additive of a ring-opening polymer of a norbornene based monomer, and a vinyl, compound of a norbornene based monomer, is used.
