To obtain a thermoplastic polymer composition which comprises a mixture of a modified olefin polymer having a specific chemical structure and a nonpolar thermoplastic polymer and shows excellent surface characteristics such as coating properties and adhesion in a variety of applications for resin molded products and elastomers.
This composition is produced by admixing (Aii) 99-1 pts.wt. of a modified olefin polymer to which at least one selected from the group consisting of ethylenically unsaturated group-containing carboxylic acids (derivatives) is bonded in an amount of 0.05-20 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of a component (Ai) and (B) 1-99 pts.wt. of a nonpolar thermoplastic polymer selected from homopolymers of poly(butene-1), polypropylene and the like to (Ai) a main olefin polymer which comprises (i) ethylene and at least one of α-olefin of 3-12C, preferably 6-12C, has a density of 0.858-0.885g/cm3 and ≤3.0Mw/Mn where Mw is a weight-average molecular weight and Mn is a number-average molecular weight calculated from a gel permeation chromatography.
