Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition useful for integral-skin foam, etc., having few causes of environment destruction, ready adjustment of density, excellent handleabilty, cycling properties and sound insulating properties, comprising a thermoplastic polyurethane resin mixed with a blowing agent of thermal decomposition type and a foaming promoter. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition comprising (A) a thermoplastic polyurethane resin mixed with preferably 0.05-70wt.% blowing agent of thermal decomposition type such as azodicarbonamide, (B) a thermoplastic polyurethane resin mixed with preferably 0.05-20wt.% foaming promoter such as zinc stearate and optionally (C) a thermoplastic polyurethane resin. The composition is expanded to efficiently give foam.
