Abstract:

To provide a thermoplastic resin band that has sufficient strength, can easily be cut with hands, and that is easy to manufacture.

The thermoplastic resin band is formed from a thermoplastic synthetic resin and is stretched uniaxially in its lengthwise direction; after uniaxial stretching, non-oriented portions are formed at predetermined intervals, in the lengthwise direction from one side edge to the other side edge; and as a result, the band can easily be cut in the widthwise direction, that is, in the direction different from the direction in which the molecules of resin forming the band are oriented.
