To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition having a high weather resistance, practical impact resistance, moldability and appearance, by using a composition obtained by melt mixing a copolymer, which contains an aromatic vinyl monomer unit, a vinyl cyanide monomer unit and a vinyl monomer unit having an epoxy group, with a modified polyolefin polymer as an essential component.
This resin composition contains (I) a copolymer (A) containing an aromatic vinylmonomer (a), a vinyl cyanide monomer (b) and a vinyl monomer, unit having an epoxy group (c) or a composition comprising the copolymer (A) and a copolymer (B) containing (a) and (b) and (II) a modified polyolefin polymer which is modified with an unsaturated dicarboxylic acid anhydride monomer unit (d) and/or an unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer unit (e). In the resin composition, the molar ratio of (c) to (d) and (e) is from 0.2 to 5.0, and the volume average size of the modified polyolefin polymer is from 0.2 to 1.0 μm.
