Abstract:
To provide a thermoplastic resin composition having ultraviolet absorption power and being reduced in the foreign matter content and to provide a method for producing the composition.
The method for producing the thermoplastic resin composition comprises a step of filtering and purifying a thermoplastic resin composition containing 70.0 mass% and 99.9 mass% acrylic resin and 0.1 mass% and 10 mass% ultraviolet light absorbent under conditions in which resin melting viscosity in 100/sec shear rate becomes 800 Pa sec by using an extruder 2 equipped with a polymer filter 4 having 10 m filtration accuracy.
