To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition usable also as a member for which high-level properties are required and enabling the use levels of fossil resource deposits to be reduced, by effectively blending a fossil resource-derived thermoplastic resin with a biomass-derived thermoplastic resin, to provide a method for producing a thermoplastic resin feedstock or thermoplastic resin molded form using the same, and to provide the resultant thermoplastic resin feedstock or thermoplastic resin molded form.
The thermoplastic resin composition comprises (A) a polystyrene-modified polyphenylene ether and (B) a biomass-derived thermoplastic resin. The method for producing a thermoplastic resin feedstock or thermoplastic resin molded form is also provided, involving melting the above thermoplastic resin composition under heating. The thermoplastic resin feedstock or thermoplastic resin molded form produced by the above method are provided.
