Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the title composition of improved heat distortion temperature, breaking strength, modulus, etc. without impairing non-warping nature, by incorparating a plastic with powdered mica along with a small amount of asbestos.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition with non-warping potential, can be obtained by incorporating a plastic with (1) powdered mica, preferably having a size smaller than that corresponding to 40 mesh, and (2) 3W15 wt%, based on the composition, of asbestos with relatively short fiber length.
