PURPOSE: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition comprising a specific non-fibrous filler, a specific modified block copolymer, polytetramethylene adipamide, a fibrous filler, a flame retardant, etc., in a specified ratio, excellent in heat resistance, toughness, ductility and blister resistance, and useful for connectors, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The composition comprises (A)20-90wt.% of polytetramethylene adipamide, (B) 2-50wt.% of a non-fibrous filler, such as kaolin, having an aspect ratio (represented by an average diameter/average thickness ratio) of ≤15, and having an average diameter of 0.01-50μm, (C) 2-50wt.% of a fibrous filler such as glass fibers, (D) 2-50wt.% of a flame retardant such as a brominated polystyrene, (E) 1-20wt.% of a flame retardant auxiliary such as antimony trioxide, and (F) 1-20wt.% of a modified block copolymer comprising vinyl aromatic compound polymer blocks and olefinic polymer blocks having carboxyl groups or its derivative groups, the unsaturation degree of the olefinic polymer blocks not exceeding 20%.
