Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material that largely enhances the compatibility of an aromatic polycarbonate with a styrene resin in order to improve the physical balance of rigidity and impact resistance of an aromatic polycarbonate/styrene resin.
SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin composition comprises, per 100 pts.wt. of the total of the components (A) and (B), the component (C), respectively, in a predetermined amount as given below: (A) 95-5 pts.wt. aromatic polycarbonate; (B) 5-95 pts.wt. styrene resin; and (C) 5-50 pts.wt. melt kneaded resin composition comprising a polyphenylene ether and a saturated polyester.
