To provide a thermoplastic resin composition having excellent moldability and chemical resistance, in particular, greatly excellent chemical resistance against alcohol and salad oil, without deteriorating excellent transparency and shock resistance originally possessed by a polycarbonate resin.
The thermoplastic resin composition is obtained by blending 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic resin component comprising (a) a polybutylene terephthalate resin and (b) a polycarbonate resin at a weight ratio (a)/(b) of 99/1 to 30/70, and (c) 0.01-10 pts.wt. of a sorbitol derivative together. Preferably, (d) 0.01-10 pts.wt. of an aliphatic carboxylic acid amide is further blended. Further preferably, (e) 0.01-3 pts.wt. of a vinyl polymer, which is produced by polymerizing at least one kind of vinyl monomer selected from the group consisting of an ,-unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydride and its derivatives and another one or more kinds of vinyl monomer, is blended.
