Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition excellent in heat resistance, rigidity, dimensional stability and molding processability and useful as household appliances, automotive part items, household electric appliance parts, etc., by blending specific amounts of PP resin with a specified maleimide-based copolymer and a modified PP resin.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is composed of (A) 9-90wt.% PP resin, (B) 9-90wt.% maleimide-based copolymer comprising 70-100 pts.wt. copolymer component composed of 30-75mol% aromatic vinyl monomer residue, 1-25mol% unsaturated dicarboximide-based monomer residue and 0-20mol% vinyl monomer residue and 0-30 pts.wt. rubber-like polymer and (C) 0.1-30wt.% modified PP resin having carboxylic acid group, epoxy group, hydroxyl group or amino group in a part of the molecular structure.
