Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain the subject composition excellent in gas impermeability, oil resistance, flexibility and low-temperature characteristics.
CONSTITUTION: This resin composition comprises (a) 90-50wt.% of a crystalline epichlorohydrin resin 20-80mJ/mg in the heat of fusion determined by differential scanning colorimetry and 0.5-5 in reduced viscosity (at 80°C, determined in the form of a 0.1% monochlorobenzene solution) and (b) 10-50wt.% of an epichlorohydrin-based rubber 30-200 in Mooney viscosity at 100°C.
