Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition, capable of mutually compatibilizing resins and excellent in dyeability, hot water resistance, etc., by blending plural mutually incompatible thermoplastic resins having functional groups reactive with oxazoline groups with an oxazoline group-containing copolymer.
SOLUTION: This thermoplastic resin composition comprises (A) plural mutually incompatible thermoplastic resins having functional groups reactive with oxazoline groups and (B) an oxazoline group-containing copolymer. A combination of a thermoplastic polyester having acidic groups as the functional groups with an aliphatic amide resin having amino groups as the functional groups is preferred as the component A. When two kinds of the thermoplastic resins are used, 5-95 pts.wt. either one and 95-5 pts.wt. other thereof are preferably used and 0.1-30 pts.wt. component B is preferably blended therewith. The component B preferably contains 0.1-25wt.% oxazoline group-containing monomer and ≥50wt.% aromatic vinylic monomer. Furthermore, 2-iso-propenyl-2-oxazoline is preferred as the oxazoline group-containing monomer.
