Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition that is excellent in moldability, low in stiffness, high in impact strength, large in energy absorption on impact and high in heat distortion resistance by grafting a specific monomer mixture onto a specific rubber polymer.
SOLUTION: This thermoplastic resin composition is prepared by grafting (A) a monomer mixture of (meth)acrylate ester, vinyl cyanide, aromatic vinyl compound and other monomer copolymerizable therewith to (B) a rubber polymer of 5-65 pts.wt. of an acrylate ester copolymer (I) that is prepared from acrylic ester, vinyl cyanide, aromatic vinyl and other monomers copolymerizable therewith and has a glass transition point (Tg) of ≤20°C and a gel content of ≤10wt.%, (II) 20-80 pts.wt. of maleimide copolymer that is prepared from vinyl cyanide, maleimide monomer, aromatic vinyl and other monomers copolymerizable therewith and rubber polymer of one or more kinds of diene rubber polymer, olefin rubber polymer or acrylic rubber polymer with a volume average particle size of 100-1,000nm so that the graft rate may reach 10-70%.
