PURPOSE: A transparent resin composition, obtained by blending a thermoplastic polyurethane rubber with a terpolymer consisting of styrene-acrylonitrile-monoolefinically unsaturated monomer, and having improved impact resistance and oil resistance.

CONSTITUTION: A resin composition prepared by blending 10W50wt% thermoplastic polyurethane rubber with 90W50wt% terpolymer consisting of styrene- acrylonitrile-monoolefinically unsaturated monomer. The total light transmittance of the resin composition is 80% or more. The preferred contents of the components in the terpolymer are as follows: 25W35wt% acrylonitrile, 65W75wt% sum of the styrene and the monoolefinically unsaturated monomer. The refractive index of D-line at 25°C of the terpolymer is 1.535W1.545. Methyl methacrylate used as the monoolefinically unsaturated monomer is preferred from the viewpoint of the compatibility.
