Abstract:
To obtain a thermoplastic resin composition capable of retaining its mechanical strength, such as excellent tensile strength inherent in thermoplastic resins, and excellent in woody texture and heat stability.
This composition is obtained by compounding 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic resin with (A) 0.5-150 pts.wt. of a wooden fiber and (B) 0.05-20 pts.wt. of a copolymer having a weight-average molecular weight of 3,000-500,000, obtained by copolymerization between 1-75 mol.% of a hydrophilic monomer and 99-25 mol.% of another monomer copolymerizable therewith.
