PURPOSE: To obtain a composition having high impact resistance at low temperature and excellent thickness dependency of impact resistance, and composed of an aromatic polycarbonate resin, a mixture of polytetramethylene terephthalate and PET, a polyester elastomer, and a specific graft copolymer.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition can be produced by mixing (A) 15W70wt% aromatic polycarbonate resin and (B) 30W85% mixture of 50W100% polytetramethylene terephthalate resin and 0W50% polyethylene terephthalate resin, and compounding 100pts.wt. of the composition with (C) 1W25pts. of a polyester elastomer and (D) 1W25pts. of an acrylate-type core-shell graft copolymer. The component C is the one composed of 70W90% poly(oxyalkylene) glycol or its ester-forming derivative having an average molecular weight of 500W5,000, a dicarboxylic acid containing ≥70% terephthalic acid, and a low- molecular glycol containing ≥70% tetramethylene glycol.
