PURPOSE: To obtain a thermoplastic resin compsn. having excellent antistatic properties and good mechanical properties and moldability, by blending a compsn. consisting of an arom. polycarbonate resin and an ABS resin with specified monoglyceride.

CONSTITUTION: A resin compsn. is obtd. by blending 100pts.wt. compsn. consisting of 30W99wt% arom. polycarbonate resin and 70W1wt% ABS resin with 0.5W15pts.wt. monoglyceride of a 10W23C satd. monobasic fatty acid. Typical examples of the arom. polycarbonate resin are bis (4-hydroxyphenyl) alkane compds. among which polycarbonates obtd. from bisphenol A are particularly preferred. Examples of the ABS resin are conjugated diene rubber/arom. vinyl compd./vinyl cyanide graft compolymers and mixtures thereof with not more than 90wt%. arom. vinyl compd./vinyl cyanide copolymer.
