Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a high-strength laminated expanded sheet capable of more economically forming a container for deep drawing and to provide a thermoformed container.
SOLUTION: This expanded sheet comprises a laminated sheet of a thermoplastic resin film and a polystyrene-based resin expanded sheet and has 0.90-1.10 ratio of length in the machine direction [MD (the extrusion direction of the expanded sheet)] after heating/length in the transverse direction [TD (the direction perpendicular to the extrusion direction of the expanded sheet)] after heating which is the deformation by heating for forming and 0.95-1.10 heating deformation ratio obtained by dividing the length after heating for forming by the length before forming and heating in both the MD and the TD.
