Title:
THERMOSENSIBLE RECORDING MEDIUM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2704586
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To adhere the metal thin film layer and protective layer firmly, suppress a peeling or scratch from generating on these respective layers and prevent a corrosion from being generated by a method wherein the adhesive layer of a thermosensible recording medium is made to contain a specified percentage of at least a denatured silicone oil.
CONSTITUTION: For the thermosensible recording medium, a coloring layer 2 or magnetic recording layer 7, metal thin film layer 3, adhesive layer 4 and protective layer 5 are laminated on the upper surface of a supporting body 1 in order. In this case, for the adhesive layer 4, 0.1-5wt.%, by a total solid portion ratio in the adhesive layer 4, of at least a modified silicone oil is contained. By doing this, the metal thin film layer 3 and protective layer 5 are firmly adhered. Therefore, a peeling or scratch which is generated on the metal thin film layer 3 or protective layer 5 by a rubbing with, e.g. a magnetic head to read or write data on a magnetic recording layer 7 or thermosensible head to perform printing, can be suppressed. Also, by the water repellent effect of the fat and oil, chemicals such as acid, alkali or alcohol, etc., from mixing in, and the corrosion resistance of the metal thin film layer 3 can be improved.
