Title:
THERMOSENSIBLE RECORDING MEDIUM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH07266696
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve light resistance and to reduce surface electric resistance by forming a thermosensible recording medium by laminating in sequence a thermosensible recording layer and a protective layer containing a specified zinc-containing hydroxyperoxide decomposition stabilizer on a support.

CONSTITUTION: A protective layer containing a compound represented by the formula (R1, R2 indicate substituents selected from alkyl groups and a benzyl group) as a stabilizer is laminated on a thermosensible recording layer. Practically, an anchor layer 2, a thermosensible recording layer 3, and a protective layer 4 are laminated in sequence on a support 1 to form a thermosensible recording medium. The thermosensible layer 3 contains a basic dye, developer particles, and a binder such as a polymer binding agent which disperses them independently. The zinc-containing hydroxyperoxide decomposition stabilizer represented by the formula has good light resistance and high electric conductivity and is useful for making the thermosensible recording medium with reduced surface electric resistance.
