Title:
THERMOSENSITIVE PELLET-TYPE TEMPERATURE FUSE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2006086050
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an improved structure of a thermosensitive pellet-type temperature fuse which prevents malfunctions involved in shrinkage of a pellet by sublimation or softening action of the thermosensitive pellet generated at the electricity supply time.

The temperature fuse is equipped with a metal case 12, and a first and a second lead wires 14, 16 extending from the metal case, and accommodates in the metal case 12 a movable electrode 18, the thermosensitive pellet 20, a strong compression spring 22, a weak compression spring 24, and a first and a second pressing plates 26, 28. A temperature difference is made to be generated on the metal case surface by using the first lead wire 14, which penetrates through an insulation porcelain 30 at one end opening of the metal case 12, different in wire diameter or wire material from the second lead wire 16 which is fixed by caulking at the other end opening of the metal case 12, or by installing a heat dissipation means.
