Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive recording medium which reduces coating defects, is excellent in printing density and print traveling property by a thermal printer, has high stability to a plasticizer and less reduction in printing density after storage under high temperature and high humidity and uses a plastic film as a support.SOLUTION: There is provided a thermosensitive recording medium which uses a plastic film as a support and is provided with a thermosensitive recording layer and a protective layer as an outermost layer in this order, wherein an acrylic resin and a polyolefin-based resin are incorporated into the protective layer and a specific sulfonic acid-based compound is incorporated into the thermosensitive recording layer as a color developer.
