Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosensitive recording medium having a high recording density, yielding a recorded portion having an excellent plasticizer resistance, and exhibiting an excellent thermal base fog resistance within a high-temperature environment.SOLUTION: The provided thermosensitive recording medium is a thermosensitive recording medium possessing, atop a support medium, a thermosensitive recording layer including at least a leuco dye and coloring agents in which not only at least one type selected from among diphenylsulfone crosslinked compounds expressed by a general formula mentioned elsewhere but also N-[2-(3-phenylureido)phenyl]benzene sulfonamide are included as the coloring agents. It is desirable for an undercoat layer including plastic hollow particles to interpose in-between the support medium and thermosensitive recording layer.
