Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a thermosetting composition having excellent storage stability and useful as original plate for lithographic printing plate, etc., by making the composition include a compound having plural sulfonate groups eliminating sulfonic acid by heat.
SOLUTION: This composition contacts (A) a compound expressed by formula I [L is an organic group comprising a polyfunctional non-metallic atom required for connecting to a polymer skeleton; R1 and R2 are each a (substituted) alkyl or a (substituted) aryl] having more than two sulfonate groups eliminating sulfonic acid by heat, and further preferably (B) a compound having more than two groups reacting with a group generated from heat elimination of sulfonic acid. Preferably, an original plate for a lithographic printing plate is produced by providing an infrared light sensitive layer comprising the thermosetting composition on a supporting body, and the sulfonate expressed by formula II (R3 is H chlorine, methyl, methoxy or acetamide) is a new compound.
