PURPOSE: To provide the composition having high storage stability and giving cured materials having high thermal stability, which is prepared by finely dispersing solid fine particles of a polyhydroxy compound and a blowing agent into an ambient temp. fluidizable isocyanate pre-polymer phase.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition contains (A) an ambient temp. fluidizable isocyanate pre-polymer obtained by the reaction of an organic polyisocyanate (preferably, 1,6-hexamethylene diisocyanate or the like) with a poly-hydroxyl compound, and (B) solid fine particles of polyhydroxy compound (preferably, pentaerythritol or the like) having hydroxyl groups more than 2- groups which are insoluble in the phase of the component A and are finely dispersed in the same and (C) a blowing agent (preferably, azodicarbonamide) which is finely dispersed in the phase of the component A and has a decomposition temp. slightly higher than the curing temp. of the composition. As the hydroxy compound used as the component A, the polyether or the like having a melting temp. of <80°C, a glass transition temp. of <0°C and an average molecular weight of 500 g/mol is preferable.
