Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosetting benzoxazine resin composition capable of shortening a curing time of benzoxazine.SOLUTION: There is provided a thermosetting resin composition obtained by adding an aromatic thiol compound or a mercapto group-containing silane coupling agent to 3,4-dihydro-3-phenyl-2H-1,3-benzoxazine or a derivative thereof. The thermosetting resin composition, in which a particular curing agent is added to the 3,4-dihydro-3-phenyl-2H-1,3-benzoxazine or the derivative thereof, can shorten a conventional curing time significantly. For example, a curing time at a curing temperature 140°C is about several hours.
