Abstract:

To provide a method for producing a thermosetting urethane-urea- imide composition which can be used as a molding material for various types of members having excellent mechanical strength, without generating carbon dioxide even by the reaction in the absence of a solvent, and is also moldable by casting.

In the production method for the thermosetting urethane-urea- imide composition consisting of (A) a mixture of an isocyanate-based compound and an imide-modified isocyanate-based compound, (B) a polyol and (C) a diamino compound, the (A) is obtained by reacting an isocyanate-based compound with an acid anhydride in the absence of a solvent and under the excess amount of the isocyanate-based compound.
