Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosiphon improving the heat absorbing efficiency without disturbing the circulation of working fluid.
SOLUTION: This thermosiphon is composed of a condenser 11 for condensing the working fluid by removing the heat by a refrigerating machine 11, a liquid pipe 12 for discharging the working fluid condensed by the condenser 11, an evaporation pipe 14 for evaporating the working fluid supplied from the liquid pipe 12 to remove the surrounding heat, and a gas pipe 15 for returning the working fluid evaporated by the evaporation pipe 14. A height of a front part 14 of the evaporation pipe 14 is gradually increased toward a liquid pipe 12 side. An outer periphery of the liquid pipe 12 is coated with a heat insulating member 16. The heat of a container 13 is absorbed in a process for allowing the liquefied working fluid to flow over the whole area of the evaporation pipe 14 even when the comparatively small amount of the working fluid is used, and the heat absorbing efficiency is improved. The working fluid is prevented from being evaporated in the liquid pipe 12.
