To provide a thermostatic chamber in which electric power consumption is saved by adapting the size (volume) of a room to the size of a product to be processed to minimize the space required for controlling the temperature.
In this thermostatic chamber, air with a predetermined temperature is introduced from a temperature controller 1 into partitioned rooms. A thermostatic chamber unit comprises rails 2 arranged parallel with each other on a floor F, gantry frames 3 movably installed on the rails 2, a telescopic mechanism 4 for connecting the adjacent columns 31 of the frame 3 to each other, and a sheet member 5 disposed on the frame 3 and partitioning the inside of the rooms from the outside. The thermostat chamber units R1, R2, R3, R4 are connected to each other.
